The Lake Nicholson is a lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . In the southern part of the Vestfold Mountains , it is 1.1 km south of the Ellis Rapids .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Robert Nicholson, radio technician for meteorological measurements at Davis Station in the Antarctic winter of 1971.
