Marcus Pompey Pollio

Marcus Pompeius Pollio (full name form Marcus Pompeius Marci filius Cornelia Pollio ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription found at Fort Solva and dated 201/300 shows that Pollio Tribune was the Cohors I Ulpia Pannoniorum milliaria equitata , which was stationed in the province of Pannonia superior at that time . Pollio was enrolled in the Cornelia tribe .
