The Lake Parangana is a dam in the north of the Australian state of Tasmania .
It is located on the upper reaches of the Mersey River between the northeast corner of Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park and the northwest corner of the Central Plateau Conservation Area . In it the Fisher River flows into the Mersey River.
It is located just a few miles north of Lake Rowallan and the Rowallan settlement .
