Lake Vida

The Lake Vida is a lake in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Victoria Valley , it is north of Mount Cerberus .

Participants in a 1958-1959 campaign as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions (1958-1959) named him after Vida (or Vaida ), one of the sled dogs of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
