WV Lakshika Sugandhi (* the thirtieth August 1991 ) is a Sri Lankan athlete who in the sprint , hurdles and in the heptathlon is launched.

Athletic career

Lakshika Sugandhi gained her first international experience at the South Asian Games in Guwahati in 2016 , where she finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 14.61 s and with the Sri Lankan 4-by-100-meter relay in 45.50 s won the gold medal. Three years later she won the South Asian Games in Kathmandu in the hurdles sprint in 13.68 s and won the bronze medal in the 100 meter run in 11.84 s behind the Indian Archana Suseentran and her compatriot Amasha de Silva . In addition, she won again in the 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.89 s.

In 2015 and 2016, as well as 2018 and 2019, Sugandhi was Sri Lankan champion in the heptathlon and in 2018 and 2019 also in the 100-meter hurdles and in 2019 also in the 100-meter run.
