Lambert Maassen

Lambert Maaßen (born November 15, 1894 in Kaldenkirchen , † November 28, 1970 ibid) was a German local politician and district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a baker and passed the master craftsman examination in this profession in 1920 . He then worked as a master baker.

He was married.

He was a member of the district council of the former Kempen-Krefeld district from October 13, 1946 until his death on November 28, 1970. Maaßen was temporarily a member of the council of the city of Hennef.

Maassen was also a member of the official representation of the Kaldenkirchen Office from 1945 to 1946 and a member of the Kaldenkirchen City Council from 1946 to 1952 .

Public offices

Of 16 November 1948 to 23 March 1970, he was continuously district administrator of the district Kempen-Krefeld. From 1946 to 1948 he was mayor of Kaldenkirchen.

Maaßen was active in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Others

On May 30, 1960, Maassen was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class. A street in Nettetal was named after him.
