Lambert Redd
Lambert Redd ( Charles Lambert Redd ; born February 18, 1908 in Grafton , Illinois , † February 1986 in Quincy , Illinois) was an American long and triple jumper .
In 1932 he was starting for Bradley University , in both disciplines with his respective personal bests of 7.78 m and 14.71 m NCAA champion.
In the same year he won at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles with 7.60 m, the silver medal behind his compatriot Ed Gordon (7.64 m) and in front of the Japanese Chūhei Nambu (7.45 m).
