The Lambertuskerk is a Protestant church in the Dutch city ​​of Buren ( Gelderland province ).

history

In 1367 a chapel was donated on the site of today's Lambertuskerk. In 1395, the Utrecht bishop Friedrich von Blakenheim elevated the chapel to a parish church. Aisles with side choirs were added in the first half of the 15th century, and a new main choir was built in the middle of the 15th century. The church tower received its octagonal tower around 1540. In 1733 the north side choir was put down.

The first marriage of William of Orange took place in the Lambertuskerk in 1551 . From 1973 to 1980 the church was restored, the church tower followed in 1990. Witte organ from 1852.

The organ of the Lambertuskerk was built in 1852 by the organ builder Christian Gottlieb Friedrich Witte . The instrument has registers on two manuals and a pedal . The actions are mechanical.
