Lambrusco di Sorbara is on the one hand a red wine variety from the Lambrusco family , and on the other hand the name for a wine-growing area for sparkling red and rosé wine ( sparkling wine and semi-sparkling wine ) in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna .

Grape variety

The grape variety takes its name from the Sorbara area within the municipality of Bomporto . It is a variety of the large Lambrusco family.
