Lamin Jabang

Lamin Kitty Jabang (born December 12, 1942 in Pirang ) is a former Gambian educator and politician, he was, among other things, Gambian foreign minister .

Jabang attended the Teacher Training College in Gambia from 1961 to 1963 and was later headmaster (1966-1970). He was set up as a constituency candidate in a by-election in the Eastern Kombo constituency in July 1970 . Since there was no opposing candidate, he became Member of Parliament (MP); July 1974 to April 1977 he was parliamentary secretary to the Foreign Ministry and was then President Dawda Jawara 1977-1987 foreign minister and belonged to the cabinet of Gambia on.

He married the later administration scientist , manager and writer Juka Jabang , with whom he has four children.
