Pirang (name variants: Pirang Berending , Pirang Kabong ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, around 2754 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 1703.
geography
Pirang is located in the West Coast Region , Kombo East district , around twelve kilometers east of Brikama and 57 kilometers west of Bwiam . The place is on South Bank Road between Madina Ba and Faraba Banta .
