Alieu Badara N'Jie
Alhaji Alieu Badara N'Jie CRG (* 1904 in Bathurst ; † April 21, 1982 also Aliu Badara N'Jie ) was Foreign Minister of Gambia .

From 1962 to 1965, N'Jie was Minister for Public Works and Communications in the British colony of Gambia. Then N'Jie belonged to the Jawara I cabinet under President Dawda Jawara as the first foreign minister of the Gambia from 1965 to 1967. In 1968 he took on another department, becoming Minister for Local Government and Land in 1968, Minister for Tourism in 1970 and Minister for Agriculture in 1972.
In a second term as foreign minister he had again from 1974 to 1977 afterwards and from April 1977 he acted briefly as Jawaras vice-president. N'Jie died in a helicopter crash in 1982.
