The building of the former Landauer Volksbank is a commercial building in downtown Landau in the Palatinate . It was built in 1903 as the bank's headquarters.
Architectural style
A stately, opulently adorned sandstone building in neo-baroque style was built in line with the contemporary taste of historicism . The planning and execution company was the Landau construction company Ecker.
location
The house is located in the area of the southern urban expansion. The client selected an exposed corner location on a square-like extension of Reiterstrasse. The urban situation is emphasized by a round corner pavilion that ends with a dome.
use
The building has housed a Deutsche Bank branch since 1937 . It also houses institutes of the University of Koblenz-Landau .
