State Women's Council

The Landesfrauenrat , also in the spelling LandesFrauenRat , is the name of various umbrella organizations of women's organizations at the level of the respective German state (mostly in the legal form of an association ). The main objective is to represent the interests of women’s associations or groups of women in mixed organizations at the political level in this country and to ensure the same social security for all women. Gender equality should be comprehensively implemented in society and, for this purpose, the motivation of women to become politically active must be improved.
