The Provincial Law Gazette for Upper Austria is a legal gazette published by the Upper Austrian provincial government . It publishes the state laws, ordinances of the state government and the governor as an organ of indirect federal administration , rulings of the constitutional court on the repeal of state laws and state treaties (including agreements pursuant to Art. 15a B-VG ). A first separate legal gazette for Upper Austria (or at that time the Crown Land of Austria ob der Enns) was first published in 1849 with the General State Law and Government Gazette for the Crown Lands of Austria ob the Enns and Salzburg , which has been renamed over the years. After the dissolution of the Austrian Empire in 1918, the State Law and Ordinance Gazette for the Archduchy of Austria ob der Enns was replaced by the State Law and Ordinance Gazette for Upper Austria , which was then published until 1924 under the title State Law and Ordinance Gazette for Austria ob der Enns . In 1925 it was in Landesgesetz- Gazette for Upper Austria and finally with effect from 1 January 1929 in the still existing Title Law Gazette for Upper Austria renamed.

Until the end of 2014, the state law gazettes were printed directly by the office of the Upper Austrian state government in Linz , since January 1, 2015 - like the Federal Law Gazette - they have been published in the legal information system of the Federal Chancellery .
