The Landgrabental landscape protection area is located in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
The 4,051 hectare area under the identification number L 90, which was designated by ordinance of October 22, 1993, extends north of the city of Friedland . The B 199 runs along the north-western edge of the area, the L 31 state road to the east and the A 20 to the west . The B 197 runs through the area .
