The agricultural engineering, sales and services Bernard Krone GmbH (LVD) is a trading company of Bernard Krone Holding , headquartered in Spelle .

history

In 1973, in addition to Fendt - and Fiat - Krone added John Deere tractors to its range, the sale of which was initially hesitant, but then all the more pleasing. Since 1995 Krone has only offered new tractors from John Deere.

From 1977 Walter Krone took over the management of the trading department, which in 1978 brought the Krone Used Machine Days to life, from which today's Krone in- house exhibition (on the second weekend in March) arose with around 30,000 visitors annually. In the 1970s, additional branches were established so that Krone could offer customers short distances to the nearest workshop. Today there are 20 more sales partners and branches. From November 1, 1999, Walter Krone officially traded Krone wholesale as “Landtechnik, Vertrieb und Dienstleistungen Bernard Krone GmbH” (LVD). In 1977 the trading company had a turnover of 21 million DM with 69 employees, while in 2000 already 130 employees generated more than 80 million DM.

In June 2001 Walter Krone retired. Her successors were Dorothee Krone, who completed her commercial training at John Deere and studied European business administration, and Ludger Gude, who had 30 years of business experience, took over the management of LVD. In 2003, Krone opened the so-called AGROPARK. Its core is the used machine hall, in which tractors, combine harvesters and forage harvesters are presented. Used attachments can be found in another hall.
