Langadia ( Greek Λαγκάδια ( n. Pl. ), Also Lankadia ) is a mountain village with a little over 355 inhabitants in the highlands of Arcadia in the Peloponnese in Greece . Until 2010 it was the seat of a municipality of the same name, which in 1948 had been elevated to a municipal municipality (dimos) . On January 1, 2011, this parish was incorporated into the newly created parish of Gortynia , in which it has since formed a parish.

At the beginning of the 20th century, 6,000 inhabitants lived in the place located on a slope. He is known for his hand-knotted carpets.

Like the entire region, the place is threatened by rural exodus, so that today a large number of buildings are empty and threatened with decay.
