The remains of the two long beds of Harrislee are located about 2.5 km west of Harrislee near the small town of Simondys , in the Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein . They are only 20 meters from the German-Danish border.
The two long beds are next to each other in a north-south direction. Its original length will have been around 60 m. All of the stones were stolen, probably by rock breakers . Instead of the previous chambers, only the corresponding depressions can be seen.
In Atlas of megalithic Germany by Ernst Sprockhoff are long beds than out "Sprockhoff 14". The megalithic systems of the funnel beaker culture (TBK) originated between 3500 and 2800 BC. Chr.
