Langenburg ( Town of Langenburg ) (pronounced / lændʒənbərg /) is a small town in the municipality of Langenburg No. 18 of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan .

Langenburg is located on Saskatchewan Highway 16 in the southeastern part of the province. The nearest town, Yorkton , is 70 km to the northwest.

Langenburg was mainly settled by Germans in the 1880s. The city was initially named as the "Hohenlohe Colony" after Prince von Hohenlohe Langenburg. In the winter of 1886/87 the place was connected to the Manitoba and Northwestern Railway . This built a train station called Langenburg, from which the place owes its name.
