The Lange Wasser is a flowing body of water in the area of the large district town of Kamenz in the Saxon district of Bautzen .
The left tributary of the Black Elster has its source south of Lückersdorf . The Lange Wasser absorbs the Gelenau water and flows past the former Moritzbad and the former water mills Schwarze Mühle and Rote Mühle. After flowing under the railway line between Kamenz and Bischheim-Gersdorf and the state road 95, it flows around the brewery pond in Kamenz first to the west and then to the north. At the Eselsburg, the Lange Wasser picks up the tobogganing water and then flows west of the primary school through the Gickelsberg natural monument and the Herrental valley south of the street of the same name, past the former manor mill. Finally, the Lange Wasser flows southeast of the Mühlweg towards the former castle mill (Große Mühle) and Eulenfelsen . A few meters after the flow, it flows under the listed single-arched granite bridge of the Uferstraße into the Black Elster.
