Lansberg is an impact crater on the front of the moon in the Mare Insularum plain , southwest of the Reinhold crater and northwest of Fra Mauro . The rim of the crater is irregular, the interior has concentric structures and a central mountain .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Dutch astronomer Johan Philip Lansberg .
