Reinhold is an impact crater on the western front of the moon in Mare Insularum , south of the large Copernicus crater . The rim of the crater is terraced and the crater floor is largely flat.

The crater was officially named in 1935 by the IAU after Erasmus Reinhold (1511–1553).
