The Lapberg is the highest peak of the ridge, which stretches from the Schinder over Laubbergel and Lapbergschneid to the west, before it drops into the valley of the Langen Au .
The summit can only be reached without a path, e.g. B. over the Lapbergsattel between Risserkogel and Lapberg. On the north side there is the abandoned Lapbergalm and a hunting lodge.
