The Lapeer Loggers were an American ice hockey team based in Lapeer , Michigan . The team played in the All American Hockey League in the 2010/11 season .
history
The Lapeer Loggers were founded in 2010 as a franchise of the All American Hockey League . On August 22, 2010, the league officially confirmed the admission of the team. The Canadian Lorne Knauft was hired as the first head coach in franchise history . The former professional player spent much of his career in various minor leagues , including the American Hockey League . In January 2011, the franchise continued under the name Michigan Moose . During their inaugural season, the team was disbanded, their 21st and final game of the season, the team had played on January 30, 2011 against the Chi-Town Shooters .
