Lappeenrannan NMKY is a Finnish basketball club from Lappeenranta . He was Finnish champion twice and cup winner four times.
history
The club was founded in 1951 as Lappeenranta Basketball 1951.
The team celebrated two doubles in a row in 2005 and 2006 , consisting of championship and cup. In 2007 and 2008 there were two more cup wins.
LrNMKY , as the club is called, reached the semifinals in the FIBA EuroCup Challenge in the 2005/06 season , where Chimik Juschne was defeated. For a Finnish team it was still a great success.
