Larrikins is a German-speaking band from Goldberg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

history

The band was founded in May 2001 in Goldberg near Rostock.

In 2008 the band started their first do-it-yourself production Come on, it happens hard . Despite or because of the DIY moment, the album found regional approval, and the band played more and more concerts as a result. In 2011 the album number Zwei Krisenkirmes was released , after shows at home and abroad, festival appearances and club gigs, it was time to record an album again in 2015. The band's first LP, Am Ende war der Mensch , was released in March 2016 and was produced under the direction of producer Dirk Burke (including In Extremo, Knorkator, Bonsai Kitten). The follow-up album For those who stayed was released on October 4, 2019 .

On the "What the hell ... (still) 29 years Third Choice" tour, sold-out Astra Kulturhaus in Berlin, the four musicians were supporting on December 6, 2019 Third choice .

style

The musical spectrum of the quartet includes punk and metal. The band itself describes their style as "Non Genre Music".
