Tomislav Pucar (born January 26, 1996 in Pula ) is a Croatian table tennis player .

From the 2018/19 season he played in the German table tennis Bundesliga for the TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell . He is right-handed and uses the European shakehand racket pose. In 2019 he won bronze at the European Games .

Career

Pucar had his first international appearances in the years 2010 to 2014, in which he participated in the European Schools and Youth Championships. A notable success here was winning the silver medal in doubles at the European Youth Championships in 2013.

In addition, the Croat took part in the 2014 Youth Olympic Games , where he was able to reach the round of 16 in an individual and at least place 5th with the team. From 2014 he also took part in adult tournaments more and more often, including the 2014 European Championship , where the Croatian selection won bronze.

Pucar played in five other world and youth championships, but never came close to medal ranks. A special surprise should also be highlighted at the 2019 World Cup when he beat Dimitrij Ovtcharov in the round of 32.
