The Lars Nunatak ( Norwegian Larsgaddane 'Lars Hill' ) is an isolated Nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains it rises 8 km west of the Skigarden ridge .

Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960). It is named after Lars Hochlin (* 1929), radio operator and dog sled driver on this research trip. The Norwegian name suggests that it is a group of hills . In order to better reflect the actual nature of the object, the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names decided in 1967 to adapt this designation.
