Lars Bergström (physicist)

Lars Bergström (* 1952 ) is a professor of theoretical physics at Stockholm University with a focus on astroparticle physics .

After completing his doctorate at the Royal Technical University in Stockholm in 1981, he spent two years at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva , continuing to work on the theory of elementary particles.

Since 2001 he has been a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and since 2004 Secretary of the Nobel Prize Committee for Physics .
