Lars Freudenthal

Lars Freudenthal (born April 24, 1973 in Nordenham ) is a German travel journalist and writer who mainly works in the Black Forest, but has since traveled to more than 50 countries. He publishes most of his travelogues on his own blog, which he runs with his wife Annette.

Life

Lars Freudenthal was born in Nordenham, but grew up in Waldshut-Tiengen from the age of 9 . He attended the University of Technology and Economics in Dresden and at the same time studied fiction at the Axel Andersson Academy in Hamburg.

The entry into journalism took place as a lateral entrant at Südkurier , where he worked for various local sections, a health and a business magazine. From 2009 to 2011 he supported the Anzeiger Südwest as an editor. Lars Freudenthal has been working for Bruckmann Verlag in Munich since 2011 , for whom he writes hiking guides and landscape portraits . Since 2017 Lars Freudenthal has also been working for Red Bull Media GmbH , for which he creates tour descriptions and maps for their Bergwelten magazine .
