The Larvik ( Norwegian for Flußbucht is) a small bay on the south coast of South Georgia . It lies between Newark Bay and Jacobsen Bight .
The South Georgia Survey carried out a survey of the bay between 1951 and 1957 , the name of which has long been established and is believed to be derived from the Norwegian Larvik .
