Lassana Coulibaly (born April 10, 1996 in Bamako ) is a Malian football player who is under contract with SCO Angers . He is currently on loan to Cercle Bruges .

Career

Lassana Coulibaly was born in 1996 in Bamako, the capital of Mali. He began his career at the French club SC Bastia from the island of Corsica . Between 2015 and 2017 he played 45 games in Ligue 1 for the club and scored one goal. After the club was relegated at the end of the 2016/17 season, the midfielder moved to SCO Angers . In July 2018, Coulibaly was awarded to Scotland to the Glasgow Rangers .

After this loan expired, he initially returned to SCO Angers. In the first three games of the new season, Coulibaly was not in the squad. He was then loaned to the Belgian first division Cercle Bruges on August 21, 2019 for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.

National team

Lassana Coulibaly took part in the 2016 Toulon tournament with Mali's U-23 . He made his senior national team debut on September 4, 2016 against Benin . In 2018 he played three qualifying games for Mali for the 2019 Africa Cup . At the Africa Cup itself he was on the pitch in all three group matches and in the round of 16. Mali was eliminated in the second round.
