Lasse Lindh (* 1974 in Malmö ) is a Swedish indie pop musician.

Career

Lasse Lindh founded his first band at the age of 16 and has since been involved in numerous projects. His musical talent was obviously so compelling that EMI signed him in 1998, produced and marketed his debut album Bra . Lindh did not disappoint expectations and was able to decouple three singles and place them in the Swedish charts. But then he turned away from the music industry and was silent for two years.

In 2001 he switched to the then unknown label Labrador Records and founded the band Tribeca with Claes Björklund . Lindh provided the song material, which Björklund then prepared and mixed. With Tribeca he brought out Kate 97 in 2002 and Dragon Down in 2004 , but also pursued his solo projects at the same time and released his second solo album You wake up at Sea Tac in 2002 , which received good reviews in the indie scene. The next productions brought out Lindh in 2006 and 2007 on Groover Records again in Swedish.

Trivia

  • Claes Björklund, his partner at Tribeca, also produced You wake up at Sea Tac in 2002 .
  • The albums Lasse Lindh and Frozen Voice: The Best of Lasse Lindh were only released in the Far East.
  • Lindh regularly helps out at Labradorpartner Club 8 with backing vocals.
  • Lindh took part in the Swedish qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song Du behöver aldrig mer vara rädd , but did not make it to the final.
