Laundry Day
Laundry Day is a one-day music festival of electronic dance music . It takes place every September in the Belgian Antwerp instead.
The festival was first held in 1998 in the Kammenstraat as a street party with a few hundred spectators. It quickly expanded and new stages were added. In 2005 the company moved to the former port district of Eilandje . From 2009 an outdoor area in Nieuw-Zuid, in the south of the city, was the venue. A meadow by Lake Middenvijver in the central district of Linkeroever has been occupied since 2015 . By 2017 the festival had grown to over 60,000 visitors.
Artist
Mostly Belgian DJs or live acts of electronic dance music perform. The international headliners include Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike , Stephan Bodzin , Felix da Housecat , Len Faki , Dave Clarke , Knife Party , Benny Benassi , A-Trak and many more
