biography

As the son of a musician, the course for Stephan Bodzin was set at an early stage and after first brief attempts at walking in various genres, he decided on electronic music. His first platform was the setting of plays at several renowned European theaters. At the same time he discovered his passion for danceable sounds and from then on worked successfully on his development as a producer in this area. Projects like H-Man and Rekorder became successes in the electronic music scene. In the meantime, Bremen's remix vita includes names such as Depeche Mode , Frankie Goes To Hollywood , John Dahlbäck , Booka Shade , 2raumwohnung , Ascii.Disko or The Knife . It was published on the labels Get Physical Music , Datapunk, International Deejay Gigolos , Systematic, Craft Music, Giant Wheel, Spiel -zeug Records, Confused, Dance Electric and Great Stuff. DJ Hell called Bodzin's songs the Bremen sound. Another step in his solo career was to found his own label Herzblut in 2006 . The Bremen label conglomerate Plantage 13 provides the creative and organizational framework for this. Stephan Bodzin has been touring the world as a DJ and live artist since 2006 .
