Laura Valgreen Petersen (born December 28, 2000 ) is a Danish athlete who specializes in long-distance running.

Athletic career

Laura Valgreen Petersen gained her first international experience in 2019 when she immediately won the bronze medal in the 5000 meter run at the U20 European Championships in Borås, Sweden, in 16: 10.44 minutes . In December she took part in the European Cross Country Championships in Lisbon , where she finished 14th in the U20 rankings after 14:50 minutes. In March she had already taken part in the World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus , where she finished in 43rd place after 23:12 minutes.

In 2018 Petersen became Danish champion in the 10,000 meter run .
