General
lauramedia was founded in 2011 by Ulrike Zimmermann in Berlin with the aim of bringing its own arthouse films to the German-speaking market on DVD and video-on-demand .
In addition to marketing art house films, lauramedia focuses on the publication of documentary and educational films that deal with controversial feminist topics, sexuality, sexual energy and "creative sex work". The educational films are developed in close cooperation with authors who only present their own approaches in the films.
Since 2016, a streaming collection of sexually explicit films of all formats and genres has been created under the name watch.lauramedia , which is intended to represent the entire artistic diversity of sex-positive filmmaking.

watch.lauramedia relies on the on-demand services from Vimeo and Distrify for streaming. Users can rent or buy the films and access them in HD quality online from mobile devices, tablets and smart TVs .
