Lauren Elizabeth Lopez (born March 8, 1986 in Royal Oak , Michigan ) is an American actress and musical artist .

Life

Lopez was born in Royal Oak and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009 . She has been a member of Starkid Productions since it was founded and has starred in numerous musicals and other shows alongside Darren Criss and Joseph Walker . In 2007, before the founding of Team Starkid, she took on a role in the web series Little White Lie . Outside of Starkid, she also appeared on stage for plays such as Spies Are Forever or The Last Days of Judas Iscariot or played alongside Chris Colfer in films such as Struck by Lightning . Together with the other members of Team Starkid, she took part in the Apocalyptour and the Space Tour in 2011 and 2012 . In 2013 she published her gluten-free cookbook These Treats Don't Suck . Lopez currently lives in Los Angeles .
