Lauren Paige McCrostie (born January 10, 1996 in the London Borough of Lambeth , London ) is a British theater and film actress .

Life

McCrostie's parents were from Kenya and her paternal grandfather was born in Scotland . She lives in Dulwich with her mother and younger sister . She lives vegan and suffers from a reading and spelling disorder . McCrostie attended Dulwich Village Infants' School, Charter School, and St. Marylebone School.

She made her film debut in 2014 in The Falling , although she had no formal acting training. In 2015 she starred in the short film Brothers , which premiered on June 18, 2015 at the Palm Springs International ShortFest . In 2016 she played a leading role in the blockbuster The Island of Special Children . In the same year she was seen in two short films. From 2014 to 2015 she took part in several plays.
