Laurens De Vreese (born September 29, 1988 in Ghent ) is a Belgian road cyclist.
Athletic career
Laurens De Vreese started his international career in 2009 with the Belgian Profel Continental team . In his first year there, he won the spring classic Omloop Het Nieuwsblad for U23 drivers and amateurs. In addition, he finished second in the one-day race Flèche Ardennaise in 2009 and he was second in the fifth section of the Tour de Liège. In 2010 he was the Belgian U23 road champion. In 2013 he was honored as the most combative driver on the Eneco Tour .
In 2017 De Vreese competed in a Grand Tour , the Vuelta a España , for the first time and finished 122nd in the overall standings.
