Laus im Pelz (Original title: The Nerd ) is an American tabloid by Larry Shue (1946-1985) from 1981 . The play has been performed on several international stages.
action
During a birthday dinner, William receives a surprising visit from Rick, the man who once saved his life in Vietnam . Rick's abusive behavior threatens not only to ruin Williams' party, but also creates tension as he settles into his home.
German version
Dieter Hallervorden adapted Shue's piece for his cabaret theater Die Wühlmäuse and took on the role of Rick. The world premiere in 1987 was recorded and broadcast on ZDF on March 2, 1987 .
