Lawrence Feuerbach

Lawrence Feuerbach ( Lawrence Edward Joseph "Leon" Feuerbach ; July 1879 , † November 16, 1911 ) was an American shot putter .

In 1903 he became US champion.

At the 1904 Olympic Games in St. Louis he won the bronze medal with 13.37 m behind his compatriots Ralph Rose (who set a world record with 14.81 m) and Wesley Coe (14.40 m).

His best performance of 14.48 m he set on September 3, 1906 in Boston .

In the tug of war at the Games in St. Louis , he finished fourth with the New York Athletic Club .
