Lawrence Osborne (born 1958 ) is a British writer.

Life

Lawrence Osborne studied languages ​​at Fitzwilliam College , Cambridge and Harvard . He lived in Paris for ten years and wrote his first novel Ania Malina and the travel diary Paris Dreambook there in 1986 .

He worked as a reporter on the Mexican border in San Diego and Tijuana and then as a feature journalist for the New York Times for several years .
