Lawrie Peckham (actually Lawrence William Peckham; born December 4, 1944 in Melbourne ) is a former Australian high jumper .

At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth in 1962 he was sixth and at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 tenth.

In 1966 he won the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston in the high jump and came in 18th place in the triple jump .

In the high jump, an eighth place at the 1968 Olympic Games was followed by a victory at the Pacific Conference Games in 1969 and the title defense at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 .

In 1972 he finished 18th at the Olympic Games in Munich . In 1973 he won bronze at the Pacific Conference Games and in 1974 silver at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch .

Ten times he was in the high jump Australian champion (1965-1967, 1969-1975) and once Polish champion (1972). His personal best in this discipline of 2.19 m he set on October 23, 1965 in Melbourne.
