Lazarus Henckel von Donnersmarck (diplomat)
Count Lazarus Henckel von Donnersmarck (born January 16, 1817 in Breslau , † September 30, 1887 in Grambschütz) was a Prussian diplomat, manorial estate owner and court official.
Life
Lazarus Henckel von Donnersmarck was born as the son of Count Lazarus Nepomuk Henckel von Donnersmarck . After attending the Vitzthum Gymnasium in Dresden , he studied law and camera science at the universities of Berlin and Bonn . In 1837 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After completing his studies, he first entered the diplomatic service in Prussia, where he worked for the embassies in Madrid , Saint Petersburg and London . In 1857 he resigned as Legation Councilor a. D. retired and settled as a manor owner on Grambschütz in the Namslau district. Henckel von Donnersmarck was state elder of the Namslau district and royal chamberlain .
