LeFeuvre Scarp ( English for LeFeuvre steep slope ) is an irregularly shaped and 750 m high terrain step in the east of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 18 km west of Cape Reichelderfer on the Wilkins Coast and marks the north side of the watershed between the Bingham Glacier and a previously unnamed glacier to the north of it.
Aerial photographs were taken in 1935 by the US polar explorer Lincoln Ellsworth , in 1940 with the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) and in 1947 with the US Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948). The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) carried out surveys in 1947 . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1962 after Charles Frank LeFeuvre (* 1928), FIDS radio operator on the Brunt Ice Shelf (1956), on Signy Island (1959) and on Horseshoe Island and Stonington Island (1960).
