Le Destet
Le Destet is a district of the southern French municipality of Mouriès in the Bouches-du-Rhône department . The hamlet is in the middle of the Alpilles .
Le Destet is located at the intersection of departmental roads 24 (Mouriès- Eygalières ) and 78 (to Maussane-les-Alpilles ). Nearby is a significant is limestone formation from the Cretaceous period . The 8.2 kilometer long Gaudre du Destet stream runs near Le Destet . The Provencal poet Charloun Rieu from Paradou wrote about the hamlet in a work from 1966.
