Mairie Paradou

Paradou is a municipality with 2023 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the south of France in the Bouches-du-Rhône (13) department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . The name comes from a local name for water mills with which weavers used the Arcoule river for themselves.

geography

It is located on the Alpilles mountain range , below Les Baux-de-Provence , east of Arles and just a little west of Maussane-les-Alpilles . The municipality is part of the Alpilles Regional Nature Park .
