With an area of just 157 hectares, Mas-Blanc-des-Alpilles is the smallest municipality in the department. It is located in the northwest of the Alpilles mountain range . The municipality is located between Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, six kilometers away, and Tarascon, ten kilometers away . The next big city is Avignon , which is 25 kilometers north. The municipality is part of the Alpilles Regional Nature Park .
